As' two days of Easter week are holidays, a number of largu Dunedin, iirms, by arrangment with the unions coucerned, will close for the full Aveek, employees meanvvhile working overtime at time and a-half rates, to compensate for the extra days off. The position this year is that Anzac Day falls. on the Thursday of Easter Week and,- tlierefore, most firms and industries will be working only three days. . Under ^the arrangement made in Dunedin, overtime will compensate for work on the Tuesday and \v ednesday and the Friday will be "given in". This n'leans that workers will begin their holidays on Good Friday, April 19; which is a. statutory holiday, and will resume on Monday, April
