TO-DAY AND TO-MORROW The screen production of Irving Berlin's "This Is the Army," filmed in technicolour by Warner Bros. for Army Emergency Relief, will have its intitial. opening at the Civic Theatre to-night. The picture presents Irving Berlin and -the original company of 350 soldiers who performed the musical for three months on Broadway and toured in the show last winter, making two million dollars for U.S. Army Emergency Relief. Several Hollywood personalities have been added to appear in. the picture. Among them are George Murphy, Joan Leslie, Lieutenant Ronald Reagan, Kate Smith, " George Tobias, Alan Hale, Charles Butterworth, Una Merkel, Frances Langford and Gertrude Niesen. Sergeant Joe Louis also appears in the fllm.
