Personal Mr. and Mrs. J. Barnett left yesterday on a holiday in tne NOrun. xJ. Mr. Noel Mortimer is the guest of his brother, Mr. C. Mortimer. 11 Mr. Arnold Robinson, son of Mr. P. K. Robinson, arrived home yesterday afternoon. Mr. Robinson arrived from Italy by the Tamaroa, which berthed at Wellington earlier in the day. Euchx-e Evenings The Snannon branch of the Labour Party held its weekly euchre tournament in Laurvig's Hall on Friday evening. There was a large attendance and the prize winners were: Ladies, Mrs. Sinclair; gents, Mr. O. Hermansson. A points prize will be started next weeK to run for a period of six weeks. The women's section of the Shannon R.S.A. held a successful euchre tournament in Laurvig's Hall on Monday evening.
