— "Our security has been won at fearful cost and we must do everything within our power to see that 'the lorces of oppression and evil do not lift their ugly heads again," said Rotarian John M. A. Ilott, ■official representative of Rotary International, when replying to an official welcome recorded him. at "the 53rd Rotary District conference at Napier yesterday. He extermed \ her deep sympathy of the Board of International Rotary to all those Rotarians whose dear ones had given their lives in the great struggie for freedom. "We remember the gallant service of all who served the United. Nations, both at home and abroad," he added.
