Personal The death occurred at Trentham yesterday morning of the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Len Edlin. The boy, nine months old, had enjoyed splendid health, but passed away suddenly. Much sympathy is felt for the bereaved parents and relatives. PenyiQns Payment Old age pensions will be paid out at the locai post office 011 Thursday. Cycles Stolen Several cycles were stolen from various parts of Otaki during the week-end. Milk Samples Taken Health lnspector Guinan yesterday took a number of samples from cans of milk suppliers in Otaki and district, with a view to having them analysed. Health Inspection Health lnspector Guinan, Constable Calwell, and local members of the Otaki Licensing Bench yesterday made an inspection of the various hotels in the town. The race-course buildings were also visited. Recommendations for improvements were made.
