Sir, — Further to a letter in today 's issue by "Observer,"' I agree that he .or she is on the rip ht. t "•- This cursed weed is in all parts of ihe borough, but .still I :am not alto■gether blaming the council. It has been spreading for years, and is hertainly gaining headway. but 'jjvhat can be done? However, I hope that the Council will make enquiries and see if it can be eradicated.-— pf.p
