Personal The friends of Mr. and Mrs. W. Easton, of Newtown, will regret^to bear that their daughter has had to enter the Palmerston North hospital. Another local resident who entered the hospital over the weekend is Miss Pat Taylor, of the Shannon Post Office staff. Palmerston North visitors . to Shannon over the week-end included Mr. and Mrs. K. Crawford. Mr. C. P. Grey, who was for a number of years in business in Shannon, and now of Otaki, was a visitor- to Shannon during the week-end- for the bowling tournament. Preparing for Golf A number of Buckley golfers were busy over the week-end carrying out repairs to the club-house in readiness for the forthcoming season. ,
