HORSE SPORTS AT OTAKI
The Otaki and. District Horse Club will hold sports on the Otaki racecourse on Saturday next, commencing at 10.30 a.m. sharp. The programme is a long and varied one, and includes events that should cause much interest. The programme will open with medical chairs and then various jumping events, inclpding a ladies' jumping competition and children's events. Prizes will also be given for the champioh hack, best riders, etc. The Quinn challenge cup should be keenly competed for. Admissiqn to ground will be 1/6. All horses taking part must be owned, trained and ridden by persons other than licensed trainers, jockeys, apprentice jockeys, stablemen or persons employed in or about the management, training, riding or care of horses registered under the rules of racing.
