ANNUAL MEETING
The annual meeting of the Hui Mai (Kuku — Manakau) Football Club was held recently in the. Ohau Hall, a good number of players oeing present. , : The president of the club (Mr. P. A. Page) in his annual report, said he wished to thank the players for the co-operation which they had given him in the past season, ana co congratulate them on the splendid ett'ort of winning the Nash, Easton and McLennan Cups. He wished the club every success/for the future. The officers for the coming year were then ' elected as foiiows: — Patron: Mr. E. Hogg; president, Mr. P. A. Page; secretary: Mr. F. M. Corbett; management committee: Messrs. P. A. Page, F. M. Corbett, R. L. Robinson, M. Staples,.W. Page, N. Candy, F. Catley and H. Cook; selector: Mr. J. N. Bryant. It was decided to nominate senior and junior teams in the competitions. It was proposed to invite Marist (Palmerston North) down" on April 13, and to send a challenge to Athletic (Wellington) for the Tatum Cup, to be played on Easter Saturday/ A motion was carried •that the name Kuku — Manakau be changed to Hui Mai.
