CLOSE POLICE GIJARD Received Tuesday, 10.10 P.m. NEW YORK, March 12. Mr. Churchill travelled by train to .New York, where several hundred P"opi2 gatliered at the station. He was closeiy guarded by detectives and pollcemen. There was 125 policemen at tlie siation and 250 along the route to the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, and 75 at the hotel.
