College Annual Sports CHAMPIONSHIPS DECIDED Five school records were broken at. the Horowhenua Collegers annual athletic sports, held on the Levin: , Domain yesterday under most favourable conditions, with the , weather fine and' a complete ah- r sence of wind. Edwin threw the cricket ball 87' yards 1 i feet, lowering the previous 'record by 9 yards 0 % feet. ; As is usuai at such fixtures, en'thusiasm ran, high and in most of ;the events, nearly all of which necesitated a number of heats, keen rivalry made the finishes close and exciting, and the whole programme was characterised by the spint of good sportsmanship which has always been a feature of school sport.
