Theatre-goers are promised something in the nature of sensational entertainment on Tuesday, March 19 at the Regent Theatre when this internationally known illusionist and manipulator makes his first appearance here, supported by a select team of Australian Vaudeville specialties. The acts are al.. attractively mounted, and hit attention to stage decoration being much more studied than usual, anc his praetice of- introducing each interlude with appropriate vocal and ballet effects is a delightful innovation. One of tjie sensations of the entertainment is the illusion "Sawing Through a Lady" in which a regulation four feet circular is used without covering of any kind; this trick has never been done here before, and is indeed an ingeniout trick. Among the vaudeville attractions worthy of special mention is Ted James, aptly described as s truly Australian comedian, and his comedy sketch "Sam's the Man" ir. association with Florence Gold, it said to be a real gem of comedy.
