PARAPARAUMU NOTES
— The Paraparaumu Mothers' Union held its quarterly meeting in the Anglican Hall, preceded by a short service in the Anglican Church. The Rev. Mr. Rickells took the service and afterwards addressed the meeting. Aftdfnooii teTS 'wds served. Private Meners and his wife have returned from a tour of the North, looking very fit and well after their holiday. Miss May Piggot, of Wanganui, spent the week-end with her. sisters at Raumati Beach. After a week's brilliant sunshine, the gardens ana paddocks were greatly benefited by a good downpour of rain in thls Qlstrict.
