WEDDING BELLS
W'EENINK— BLYTH An attractive wedding was solemnised recently at St. Peter's Presbyterian Church, Woolston, Christchurch, when Margaret Joyce, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Blyth, Opawa, Christchurch, was married to Leslie Boyd, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Weenink, Aramoho, Wanganui. A daintily embroidered veil, caught to the head with a halo of stifitened tatted lace, fell s.oftly over the bride's gown 01 deep cream silk velvet, which was graceful in its simplicity of line. Deep cream blooms fashioned her bouquet. Her small niece, Margaret Howie, also in cream velvet, was flower girl. The bridesmaids, Misses Margaret McLennan and Una Smith, of Christchurch, made a charming duo in lettuce-green silk velvet, with head sprays and exquisite bouquets of apricot, lemon and gold toning. , The groom, was supported by Mr. C. Dallas, of Wellington, as best man, and Mr. A. Stiven, of Christchurch, as groomsman. The reception was held at the Mayfair Lounge, where Mrs. Blyth, assisted by Mrs. Weenink, received the guests. Following a honeymoon at Stewart Island and the Southern Lakes, the bridal pair will take up residence in Lower Hutt.
