A fine of £150- was imposed on Robert Arthur Drury,, aceo.untanr, aged 38, who appeared before Mr. Raymond Ferner, S.M.„ this. morning, charged with carrying on the ousiness of a bookmaker. D.etective-Sergeant A. A. Herrion said that Drury, ; who was, fined £10.0 in May last for'keeping a eommon gaming house, was in a fairly big way as a commission agent, laying off bets with various bookmakers.
