CHRISTCHURCH, ftarch 8. iranawatu won the senio and B grade women 's softball championships, wliich were continued today. Cunter bu ry won the junior chainpionship. A mistake by Canterlmry cost it the B grade chanipionship, Manawatu win ning by one ruri. Later the lmproving Southland team det'eated the cham pions. Results: — Senior: Otago 13 v. South Canterburv 1, Manawatu 12 v. Canterlmrv 10, IWanawatu 7 y. Otago 8, Canterbtiry 2" v. South Canterburv 10. Winners: Manawatu, with Canterburv and Otago, equal second. B Grade: iManawatu B 13 v. Oan lerburv B 12, Southland 22 v. South Canterburv B 3, Southland 10 v. Mana watu B 7. Winners: Manawatu, with ■ 'unterbufv rminers-up. Juniors: Otago 13 v. Canterbury 12.
