, 1 • The anriual general meeting of t&e Otaki Goif Ciub was held in the Anglican H.all recently. There was a good attendance oi members. The report and balance-sheet were read and confirmed, showing the club to be in a good financial position after a successfiii year. Repairs had been done to the clubhouse, While an increase in membership and improvements to the fairways had resulted in keener competition in spite of a shortage of goif oalls. , The elecuion of officers resulted as follows: — President, Mr. S. A. Elliott; captain, Mr. D. G. Sutherland; hon. secretary, Mr. F. S. Elliott; hon.- treasurer, Mr. H. Turner; auditor, Mr. A. Wilson; handicapper, Mr. J. D. D'Ath; committee, Messrs, I. Beruram, E. B. Anderson, D. G. Reid and Dr. F. Neate.
