Received Thursdav, 8.20 p.m. LODDON. March 7. New Zealand, shaiing the berths on the Athione Castle and the Highland Princess with Australia, gets about 270 on the former and 96 on the lattpr. This statement was made , hy Mr., Barnes, who received a deputation consistlng of Mr. Beasley and the Australian Agents-General on the question of providing sliipping accommod?t*m for war brides and Australians v/ishing to I'cfurn home. Mr. Barnes told Mr. Beasley- he would provide for 1000 war hrides in March and April. In the latter month 1 the Rangitiki and the Highland Monj arch would "be made availahle.
