The Lahour Party cancus and the Opposition parties have rejected a proposal hy the Australian Broadcasting Commission to hroadcast^ the Parliamentary session nightly on sitting days. 'The pronosal, which was suhmitted as an a1ernative to a full hroadcast of the proceedings, provided for ux minutes introduct tion, six minutes fo)' each of two S spokesmen represeuting the oovern- ! ment and the Opposition and the rest ! of the halfhour for commen't. The ! rejection was made on the grounds J that the time" was unsuitahle and inadequate.
