GENERAL FREYBERG HONOURED IN LONDON LONDON, March 5. Now emharking on a series of leavetakings hefore sailing for New Zoaland, the Govemor-General-Designate oi New Zealand (General Freyherg) today was presented with- Ihe h.onorary freedom and livery of the Worshipful Co.upany of Stationers and Newspaper tVIakers. At the invitation of the Lord Mayor of London (Sir Charles Davis), the freedom was conferred at a limcheon in Mansion House in the C'ity of London. There wer'e more fihnn 290 guests present, including Lord Bnrnham a-nd Lord Iiiffe, Sir Edgar Waterlow, Colonel J. J. J. Astor, and various traditions "associated with functions at Mansion House were observed.
