WELLINGTON, lVIarch 6. A deep depression is centred north-east of the Chatham Islands, while an antieycione is centred west of Southland. The forecast to 5 p.m. on Thursday is for moderate to fresh southerly winds. A few isolated showers about the ranges,. but weather elsewhere fair though cold. Further outlook: Fair.
