POROUTAWHAO CLUB Shooting conditions on Saturda; were favourabie and eleven of tlu eompetitors reached the handicap standard. L. K. Lumsden with 133.. and N. Pickering 132.4 were the bes scores off the rifie at both ranges C. Tait returned a good possible in uhe first round, three of the "bulls' being central with the remainder i grouped just above the metric. The follcwing members scored '138 or better: Mrs. A. L. Lumsden •and Mrs. W. J. Tait 138.9, Mrs. ■Green, B. Hannam, Miss M. Kilsby. W. J. Tait and S. Lumsden 138.7: Miss R. Arcus and J. Thornton ; 138.5; Mrs. S. Lumsden 133.3 and L. K. Lumsden 138.2. In the shoot of) between Mrs. Green and Mrs. Tait the latter won the competition, the scores being 31 and 35. Mrs. Tait and Mrs. Lumsden tied for this week's trophy. i
