Lieut.-General Lucius Clary, depuoy American Miiioary Governor, said the Americans were determined to see the sentences are carried out. The Germans will do uieir own prosecuting. He added that as far as the Military Government could commit the United States, j the Americans wouid remain in 'Germany for at least ten years. jFurther instructions wouid be isI sued to the German Ministers con|cerning the persons held guilty of war crimes and conduct against "peace and humanity."
