PROVINCIAL MEETING Tho qiuvrterly meeting of the Manawatu provineial execntive of the u'.JJ.F.l . was held at Levin recently, all Imt the junior branch heing repvesented. t A circitlar. on adult education was read and discussed, delegates to refer tlie matter to their branches and notify the execntive of their intentions before the end of March. ( A letter was received from Mrs Jordan, the W.B.F.U. representative on the Standards Institute. Members pointed out the difliculty of obtaininj gannents of a standard size. most garments these days being marked largor than they actuallyO were. It was stated that steps to have this remedied weri well in hand. Mrs. R. W. Barber, in her rest home report; stated that guests had averaged eight during the last few months. Three trairiees were. ready to leave the home. In her house-keeper report, Mrs. 0. Bartholomew regretted very much having ■••to report the resignation of the W.B.'s one and only house-kecper. This work was variod and very interesting, and anyone taking up a position with the iW.il. would not only be doing usefuFwork, ' lni would make many new frieuds and see other parts of the country. '
