Tenders NEW ZEALAND FOREST SERVICE LOGGING CONTRACT OTAGO COAST FOREST TENDERS are invited from competent and established logging contractors for extraction thinning operations within Otago Coast Forest. Log extraction will be by log skidder in the 75-100 kw class and loading on truck with boom or crane type loader in the 60-80 kw class. The production requirement is 18,000 cu. m of sawlogs plus an estimated 2700 cu. m of Industrial wood annually. Local and export sawlogs will be produced. Terms of contract will be twelve months from April 1, 1986, with the right of renewal for four subsequent twelve monthly periods subject to satisfactory peformance and continued availability of work.
