DEPARTMENT OF PAEDIATRICS Vacancy No. 86/5 RESEARCH INTERVIEWER THE Christchurch Child Development Study requires the services of a full time survey interviewer for a period of approximately four months starting in April 1986. This position will involve extensive travel throughout the South Island to visit families in various areas and conduct interviews on child health and development. Own transport is essential. Applicants should have some experience in survey interviewing or related work and a background in the social sciences, nursing or a similar area would be an advantage. Interviewing will be conducted within the Christchurch urban region and will involve up to 40 hours work per week. Some week-end or evening work may be necessary. Own transport is essential. It-is desirable, but not essential, that applicants have some background in research interviewing, nursing, social work or the social sciences.
