The Sunday Club

Sir;—Once again we read about the supposedly dissident Sunday Club. To put the record straight once and for all, the Sunday Club people are staunch National Party supporters who are dissatisfied with the performance of the National Party at present. Yes, we want Sir Robert Muldoon back on the front benches. The party needs his experience and expertise. Yes, we want an effective Opposition with strong leadership qualities for the good of New Zealand. Dissident we are not. The opinion of one person in Wellington does not reflect the wishes of the majority. The essence of the Sunday Club’s aim is to get the National Party people back together again.—Yours, etc.,

V. MILLER, Secretary, Sunday Club. February 13, 1986.
