Asthmatic killed by glue-sniffing

PA Hamilton Solvent sniffing killed Kevin Andrew Shepherd, aged 22, says a Hamilton Coroner’s finding. that nobody else was involved in the man’s death, Constable Donald said. A pathologist, Dr David Bruton, said Mr Shepherd’s lungs were heavy and congested. The Coroner, Mr John Webb, found that Mr Shepherd died from heart failure, brought on by “cardiac arrhythmia caused by solvent toxicity or anoxia (lack of oxygen).” The Coroner said Mr Shepherd had been asthmatic.
