Police cars rammed
PA Wellington Two children were in a car which rammed two police cars as a result of a domestic dispute in Porirua on Wednesday evening, said the police. Sergeant Bruce Ross said a man had locked himself and his children in the car in a car-park but drove off after the police arrived. Patrol cars blocked him nearby but the man then began to ram them. The man, aged 29, had been charged with wilful damage, dangerous driving, and careless use of a motor-vehicle.
