Stallion service auction
PA Hastings The northern race commentator, Keith Haub, will be the guest speaker and auctioneer at the Napier Park Racing Club’s stallion service auction and dinner at Napier next Tuesday. Service nominations to 12 of the country’s leading stallions will be auctioned. The sire nominations to be offered are Balmerino, Three Legs, Half Iced, Faith Guest, Light Spirits, Triumphal March, Sir Fleet, Fiesta Star, Terrage Hajii, Piperhill, Brigade Of Guards and Leader Of The Band. Proceeds from the auction will go to assisting the Napier Park Racing Club in raising stakes for future meetings and improving the racing industry in the Hawke’s Bay area.
