Dirkala 1, a new field oil and gas discovery well in the Murta block of South Australia’s Cooper Basin, has made a further gas discovery. The operator, Delhi Petroleum Pty, Ltd, said a third drill-stem test over the interval 1946 m to 1964 m in the Patchawarra formation flowed gas, with trace condensate, at a rate of 160,557 cubic metres a day.
