Ross Elliot to resume
PA Levin The promising Levin apprentice, Ross Elliot, who has been out of action for three months, will resume riding at Woodville on Saturday. A younger brother of successful jockey, Grant Elliot, he started his riding career in sensational fashion by riding three winners from his first three mounts, a feat rarely recorded in New Zealand. In a relatively short career, Ross Elliot has ridden 11 winners. He suffered leg and other injuries in a horse-float accident
