Luxoil suspended
PA Wellington The Stock Exchange has suspended quotation of Luxoil NL shares. The exchange’s executive director, Mr Roger Gill, said the exchange had received information which indicated the possibility of an artificial market in Luxoil shares.
“The exchange has therefore suspended quotation of
the company’s shares until the opening of trading on Monday February 17 and has meanwhile asked the directors to provide information relating to dealings in the company’s shares since December 1 1985.
"If the exchange’s concerns are satisfied before February 17 the suspension will be lifted earlier and the market advised accordingly."
