Smith hits cycling form
The Canterbury Track Cycling Championships, which begin this evening, were on the minds of most riders at the Denton Park meeting on Sunday. Jason B. Smith, the New Zealand Oceania Games representative, was in top form, and won the junior 8000 M race from Pierre Jordan, of Nelson.
In the senior 8000 M race, Wayne Eyre, the former junior world championship representative, won wasily from Peter Coates, the Healing Papanui rider.
