P. Johnson fined $l00
PA Hamilton The jockey, Peter Johnson, was fined $lOO for accepting two rides in the James Sarten Memorial Handicap at the Waikato Racing Club’s meeting on Saturday. The judicial committee, after hearing all relevant factors, determined that Johnson should ride Taiaha.
He had also accepted the ride on One Guinea in the same race. One Guinea, ridden by Nigel They, came third, with Taiaha fourth.
