New Brighton surfers in form
New Brighton surfers won three of the four events in the Piping Hot Surf Shack Canterbury surfing championships. The event began last Thursday at Taylor’s Mistake and moved up the coast to the Waimakariri River mouth for the final two days during the weekend. The open, veterans arid kneeboard classes were run by New Brighton participants.
