Greyhounds Living Stone set for win

The Auckland-trained Living Stone should add another major prize to his impressive list of victories when he contests the Wellington Cup, second T.A.B. trifecta event and the second leg of the T.A.B. treble at the Wellington Greyhound Racing Club’s meeting at Hutt Park today. Although he was beaten by Tegimi Ace at his last outing, he has consistently been too strong for his North Island counterparts. Drawing box No. 4 should not worry him as he tends to settle back in the field before making his run. The Tokoroa-trained Spades always races well at Hutt Park and could well figure in the finish, while Tegimi Ace should lead them out and will take some heading. If Uli Uli re-enters the field then he must rate a big chance after he missed the jump at his last outing. Canterbury kennels will

be well represented at the meeting, with the Weedons trainer Ray Adcock taking eight dogs to compete.
