Weather takes toll
NZPA-AFP London Britain’s wintry weather continued to take its toll of yesterday’s sporting fixtures as more football matches had to be called off after overnight frost. Thirty-two football matches in England and Scotland were postponed, but all the Scottish Premier League games were to be played. Six first division-game are still left in England — at Birmingham, Chelsea; Manchester City, Nottingham Forest, Southampton and Tottenham. r >
