Salvationist dies
Frederick Courts, world leader of the Salvation Army as its eighth general from 1963 to his retirement in 1969, had died. He was 86. General Courts was commissioned as a Salvation Army officer in 1920 and appointed to command its Australian eastern territory in 1967. He died in a London hospital after a brief illness.—London.
