Mauger wins injunction
PA Auckland Promoters for the Ivan Mauger speedway meeting yesterday obtained a High Court injunction to ensure the afternoon event scheduled for Waikaraka Park today goes ahead.
Mauger, six times world champion, said the injunction forbids the Auto Cycle Union, which had previously rejected an application for the use of Onehunga Park, from interfering in the meeting.
