Pan-Elec. in liquidation

NZPA-Reuter Singapore Pan-Electric Industries, the major marine and property group which a Malaysian politician, Tan Koon Swan, tried to rescue before his arrest on fraud charges, has gone into liquidation, accountancy officials said. The group, Singapore’s biggest corporate failure with debts of about SS39OM (about SNZIO4M) is now in the hands of the accountancy firm Price Waterhouse, Price Waterhouse officials told Reuters.
