ADAMS, Jernes Henry (Late 2nd N.Z.E.F., No. 10314) - On February 4, 1986, at his residence, 59 Wakanui Road, Ashburton, loved son of the late James and Catherine Adams, loved brother and brother-in-law of Richard and Nora Adams, and uncle of Tony and Diane; aged 69 years. (Suddenly.) His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church of the Holy Name, Sealy Street, Ashburton, Today (Friday), at 10 a.m., thereafter Interment at the Ashburton Services Cemetery. BRIGGS, Phyllis Thelma — On February 5, 1986, at Greymouth, dearly loved wife of William Andrew Briggs, 93 Fitzgerald Street, Cobden, loved mother and mother-in-law of Les (Ginger) and Margaret (Paroa), and Barry and Robin (Cobden), treasured gran of Stephen, Timothy, Christopher, Louise, Alaida and Natalie, loved sister and sister-in-law of Margaret and the late Campbell Lumsden (Owaka), Gordon and Margaret Dryden (Auckland), Les and Margaret Dryden (Christchurch), and the late Olive Carnegie, loved daugh-ter-in-law of Eileen Mathieson (Auckland), and loved sister-in-law of Rolalne and Bernie Fox (Auckland), Rod and Joan Mathleson, and Doug and Maureen Mathieson (all of Christchurch); in her 64th year. Flowers respectfully declined, but donations to the Cancer Society of New Zealand, P.O. Box 13-049, Christchurch, would be appreciated. The Funeral service will be held In Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Talnui Street, Greymouth, Tomorrow (Saturday), at 11 a.m., thence private cremation. Westland Funeral Services, Ltd, Greymouth.
