N.Z. Salmon
PA Wellington New Zealand Salmon, Ltd, has placed 800,000 shares for cash with institutions following recent special general meeting approval. Negotiations over several weeks resulted in 600,000 of the 50c ordinaries selling at 590 c and 200,000 at 725 c. They will not qualify for either the 1985 dividend or current cash issue. The issued capital, following the placement and cash issue will be 6,150,870 fully paid 50c shares. The placement increased to “a more acceptable level" the institutional shareholding and placed the company in a strong position now that the majority of its development is completed, its statement said.
