Arson attacks on house, car
PA Auckland A woman whose house was the target of a firebomb on Tuesday was again the victim of arsonists yesterday. Her son’s car was set alight outside her home, said a police spokesman. Mrs Christina Noble, aged 41, yesterday moved out of her One Tree Hill flat and into the care of friends.
Before the fires, she had received anonymous telephone threats including messages such as: "Watch your baby; watch your family.” Her son’s Mk 111 Zephyr car was set alight about 1.30 a.m. by a man, a passerby said. The police said that by the time firemen arrived, the vehicle was gutted. Mrs Noble and her family were asleep.
