$1M likely for victims
PA Nelson About $1 million is likely to be paid to the trust board set up to administer funds for New Zealand Agent Orange victims and their dependants. The allocation is from an Agent Orange settlement in the United States, which with interest has risen to more than $4OO million. The actual allocation for New Zealand was
SUS4OO,OOO, but interest since May 7,1984, and the exchange rate are expected to lift this to about $1 million when the transfer of funds is made to the New Zealand Trust Board, probably in April.
