Beaver Boy appeal
PA Wellington Racing Conference appeal judges have confirmed Beaver Boy. as the winner of the T.H.C. Rotorua Cup raced late ’ last year. The judges dismissed a combined appeal by the , connections of Joal, > Dreamawin and Mister ' Lumlee against a Waikato District Committee deci- ‘ sion to reinstate Beaver Boy as the winner. ;; Beaver Boy was first “ past the post in the race , but was relegated to sixth « by the club judicial committee for interference to Mister Lumlee, which finished sixth. That decision was overturned on appeal to the Waikato Districts Committee, which reinstated Beaver Boy as the winner.
