A week of finals
As Television One gears up for the new season of programmes, a number of series reach their conclusion this week.
Today the finals start at 1.30 p.m. with “Palmerstown” playing for the last time over summer, and this evening viewers take their last look at “Gliding On” at 7.35 p.m, “Power and Powerlessness” at 8.05 p.m., followed by “Simon and Simon,” “Chance In A Million” and “Strangers.” Marilyn Waring’s guest on “Power and Powerlessness” is lan Fraser who talks about the media and the threat the feminist movement poses to liberal men.
Tomorrow sees the final of “The Legend of Robin Hood” at 7.35 p.m. and “Duty Free” at 9.45 p.m. Then on Wednesday, Johnathon and Jennifer solve their last high class crime mystery for summer in “Hart to Hart” at 7 p.m. Neil Billington also presents the final “This Week” programme at 8 p.m.
On Friday, Flight Lieutenant James Nicolson is honoured in the last of seven programmes about the men who were awarded the Victoria Cross in “For Valour” at 7.30 p.m.
The new season of television programmes begins next Monday.
