Royal sneak preview

NZPA-PA London Prince Charles had a sneak preview yesterday of the 12-metre yacht it is hoped will win the Americas Cup for Britain. - The Prince, who is commodore of the Royal Thames Yacht Club, spent 25 minutes seeing the top secret yacht, said to have a radical design, nearing completion at Ramble, near Southampton. The yacht was hidden from public view by a blue and white curtain in a hangar at the yard and Harold Cudmore, skipper of the British challenge, said: “It actually would affect our competitive position if we showed this boat to the opposition. We need to keep it under wraps.’’
