Stand on disloyalty backed
PA Wellington The Public Service Association has said it supported the State Services Commission concerning deliberate disloyalty in the public service. The commission’s chairman, Dr Mervyn Probine, said on Thursday that cases of deliberate disloyalty would result in in-
stant dismissal. He said the commission was greatly disturbed at the allegation by the Minister of Defence, Mr O’Flynn, that officers and staff in the Ministry of Defence had been disloyal in leaking information to Opposition members of Parliament and the news media.
