Frye may leave hospital today
By W. R. CARSTON The Amberley-based horseman, Danny Frye, who suffered severe bruising and concussion in a four-horse fall at Riccarton on Saturday, hopes to be discharged from hospital today but is unlikely to resume race-rid-ing for at least another 10 days. The Riccarton apprentice, Jackie Jamieson, who was involved in the same incident, was treated for the fracture of a small bone in the wrist >4
and sent home on Saturday evening. She expects to have the plaster removed in about 10 days so should not be out of action for long.
